Community Education Community education at Partners for Stronger Communities aims to enhance communities by providing education and encouraging collaboration. Our goal is to provide prevention education and life enhancement skills to provide awareness for vulnerable and underserved populations in the community. |
Referral Services We are able to refer our clients to a number of different services such as: shelter referrals, emergency and/or permanent housing, utility bill assistance, acquiring material needs (clothing, food, hygiene products, baby products), getting medical and dental care, and referrals for legal aid/attorneys referrals, GED services, and job placement/counseling. |
Case Management A collaborative process that assesses, plans, implements, and monitors the options and services that best meet the needs of each client. Everyone benefits when clients reach their best possible level of wellness, self-management, and functional capability. |
24/7 Hotline We offer a 24/7 local hotline for anyone in crisis or just in need of someone to talk to. More info on Hotline page. Call 276-466-2312. |
"Just Checking" Through this program, daily calls are made to individuals who would otherwise have no one checking on them on a regular basis. Trained and caring workers make calls Monday through Friday to program participants. We also make referrals and assist with making appointments as needed. |
Support Groups We currently have regularly meeting sexual assault and LGBTQ+ support groups. These meetings take place at Partners for Stronger Communities and via Zoom for those who cannot make it in person. We are working on having more support groups soon. More info here. |
Notary Services We now have a licensed notary in our office. If you find yourself in need of notarization, we can provide this to you at no charge. |
Housing Through our partnership with A Safe Harbor Home, we can help houseless individuals and domestic violence victims find housing. The organization can help those in these eight counties in Tennessee: Greene County, Hawkins County, Hancock County, Johnson County, Washington County, Sullivan County, Carter County and Unicoi County. |
